Comments: I was a Fireman/Engineman 2nd Class and served on the Huron Lightship from 1957-1959 in Port Huron, MI with many great crewmembers, most of whom have all pass on. In remembrance of Seaman Robert G. Gullickson who lost his life when he drowned on 8 May 1958. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

We have been to most of the Eastern states and have been talking about doing a Michigan lighthouse tour. So much to see!! Enjoyed sharing with you.

Comments: Hello and Happy New Year, friends! Site looks fabulous as always. Have to say that our lighthouse highlight of 2010 was hiking the Lake Superior shoreline for many miles to get to the 14 Mile Point Lighthouse, although the flight we shared with you for some islands lights would also be a top contender! Here's hoping to another great year in 2011 of lighthouse adventures and perhaps connecting again this year. Isle Royale is calling, those are our only remaining Michigan lights!!
